Ten years ago I purchased a brand new 2017 Tesla Model S, one of the first 100 without the faux grill. That year I also came across a 2001 Dynasty Neighbourhood EV built in Kelowna, #110 off the assembly line. This vintage EV takes us back to a time when BC was a global leader in the clean energy transition. My Mexican-plated 2025 BYD Shark Extended Range and the LGAO Neighbourhood Zero Emission EV are a glimpse of what's coming to Canada. Affordable Chinese EVs will usher in a new era.
